UEG awards scholarships every year to academically talented and highly motivated students of all majors who are pursuing full-time undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degrees. The program is focused on motivating students to consider different ways they can make an impact on the environment after graduation. Award amounts vary from $500-$2000.

How to Apply

Submit the following materials to

  1. 1000 word essay detailing how your studies will prepare you to make an environmental impact immediately upon graduating.
  2. Resume (1 page maximum) detailing your academics, extracurricular activities, honors, employment, community service, and special skills.
  3. Recent photograph suitable for publication (i.e., a cap and gown picture, or other professional quality and professionally dressed photograph).
  4. A legible copy of your current unofficial transcript as ONE (1) PDF document (JPEG or PNG files will not be reviewed).
